CRAFT Tech is involved in applications of LES modeling for the simulations of practical flows of interest to our customers. The flow regimes span the spectrum from low speed bluff body flows to high speed wall bounded and shear flows and can be studied using our structured as well as unstructured flow solvers. For this purpose, CRAFT Tech has developed and validated specialized numerical schemes, LES models and boundary condition methods capable of robustly handling flows of varied speed ranges and complexities. To date several flows including cylinder wake shedding, reacting and non-reacting jets and shear layers, boundary layer and compression corner flows, weapons bays and cavity flows have been simulated using these methods.
