Apart from prediction techniques, control techniques for aeroacoustic flowfields are also being developed at CRAFT Tech®. Both active and passive methods are being studied – both to understand the mechanisms that govern these controllers and to develop high fidelity control concepts. Further, very advanced analysis and system modeling techniques based on Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (POD) are being developed to better model and predict system behavior for complicated systems.
